Karunai Ullangal Trust rescues homeless, elderly and mentally ill people from the streets of Tamil Nadu. We give them a bath and clean clothes, urgent medical and psychiatric care, a safe place to live, and the patient counselling that helps them recover.
When a family can be traced, we take them home. Every part of this care — rescue, treatment, food, shelter and reunion — has been free of charge since 2017.
