COVID Awareness & Rescue Work
When the city closed its doors, our vans kept moving.
Through the pandemic, KUT carried patients to hospitals and scan centres free of charge, delivered provisions to families whose daily wages had vanished, sanitised shelter homes and conducted final rites for those nobody else would approach.
- Free ambulance transport to hospitals and scan centres for 200+ patients.
- Dignified final rites for 700+ people who died of COVID-19.
- Provisions and dry rations delivered to 2,500+ families.
- COVID Food Relief — free food provided to 5,00,000+ people during the COVID-19 pandemic.
